Tenants – Help us to help you!

Letting agents are a lucky lot, we love the challenge of helping people find their ideal home within a sensible budget. But you can also help us to do that even better by following these three tips:
Turn up for viewings at the agreed time.
We use our knowledge and experience to calculate how long a viewing takes, including plenty of time for a good look round and asking lots of questions. If you arrive 15 minutes late, then a substantial part of that appointment time is lost. If you can’t turn up at all, then please ring and tell us. You’ll always get a friendly and courteous response, we’ll rebook you for another time (if you want) and you’ll have the satisfaction of knowing that we’ve been able to use your appointment time for somebody else.
Tell us what really matters to you
We want to show you the properties that are most relevant to you, so talk to us and tell us what you want. This can be on the phone, by e-mail or when we’re already showing you a property. If all that matters is being ten minutes walk from the railway station or having somewhere for the children to play football or being in absolutely perfect decorative order, then please tell us and we’ll use our brains to suggest the places that we think meet your needs.
Tell us what you really think of a property.Remember that our job is to help you find the right property, so please tell us what you really think of the houses or flats we show you. No need to be polite, we won’t be offended if you think it’s too small (perhaps we can suggest something more suitable) or hate that green wall (perhaps the owner would repaint it). But if you don’t tell us, we can’t help.
